Hilltop Area Looking North 1968

The Hilltop area of Virginia Beach, looking north from Laskin and First Colonial Road. The undeveloped farm land that would become the Hilltop Shopping Center is in the foreground on the right side of the image. This photo looks all the way to the Chesapeake Bay, Broad Bay Island and Cape Henry, all visible at the top of the photo. Also obvious to viewers is the old Virginia Beach Drive In Theatre on the bottom left side.
